oh lay lay, oh lah lah. (i cant think of a suitable title)

well well, its been super long since i did a proper post. like a month or smth. been super busy with everything.  i know its cliche but a picture says a thousand words. so here are some pictures, many pictures in fact, to save me from typing until my fingers give way. after all, who likes seeing a WOT post. thats wall-of-text for the uninformed(uncool).

 

Su Zhou 苏州

Was initally arrowed by SST to lead a small trip, who knew the response was super good, so ended up leading an independent tour group with 42 of us. thats like 3/4 of the whole gip shanghai.

went to four places. 狮子林，留园（both Unesco world heritage sites), 盘门三景and 寒山寺. pictures are everywhere so im still trying to compile. will upload on facebook when i have them.

for some reason in both the group photos i cant seem to count all 42 pple! where did the remaining few go? weird.

枫桥夜泊

i’m sure many of you would have heard this poem before. i remember i was made to memorize it in primary school. made no sense then but after baidu-ing it begin to understand what it meant.

well didnt enjoy the trip as much as the earlier zhujiajiao trip. i guess mainly cos i was the leader. so like most of the time trying to make sure everything was fine for everyone. not easy. well on the other hand it was a good sexperience as although i already knew all 42, i got to know some pple closer through this trip. which is a good thing. plus first time we had such a big outing, the planning and arranging and stuff were all quite new to me and at the same time, quite fun. the running to different travel agencies, the collecting of money, to the sending of emails and stuff like that. something i wont do in sg. guessed this is one of the reasons why i came for this gip.

 

class excursion to Urban Planning museum

went to Shanghai Class Urban Planning Museum excursion with peeps from SJTU. pretty interesting. much like the URA building in sg.  least its better than being cooped up in class. again, not many pics. getting lazy to take phone out to take photo. let those with the DSLR take better.

yup thats about it. abit boring right. other than the whole miniature model of shanghai, which didnt have my estate by the way, the rest of the muesuem was dedicated to the world expo 2010 thingy that shanghai is hosting. there were supposedly 3 china students joining us for this excursion but halfway through they disappeared too. wth. meh. hahaa. felt violent and destructive when i was there though. think NG WEIJIE would have liked this place.

 

oh well thats it for today’s post. will clear some backlog again when im free. today too shag already. uploading pics is still a pain. nites guys.
